in Exercise

Most exercise gurus often say that being impulsive is not a good option especially if you are interested in getting that great body, and are motivated enough to put in the time for it.

Often most people tend to overdo it right from the outset (call it overtraining, if you will) and end up with injuries which are totally unnecessary. Hence, the emphasis on having a trainer/ spotter with you when you work out.

Truly, it's not about being a "hare" but definitely a tortoise when it comes to working out meaning to say that slow and steady should be the motto keeping long-term plans in mind when it comes to both diet and exercise.

Even if you did try to get quick results, it will only lead to disappointment…

Motivation: The "Rudder" of An Exercise Routine

While pairing up with someone who can keep you motivated to exercise is one of the best ways to stay motivated and make progress, very often, your dog might be a far better motivator than your human friends might be.

Obesity doesn't help your cause either… and leads to excuses that are anything but useful to the overall objective of staying fit when you are 60 to 70 years old.

That was my biggest motivator… I didn't want to end up popping pills when I touched 60 years of age, as it has been proved that the more exercise you have when you are young, the healthier you are at an older age.

Yet even with realizing this fact, many people have never attempted to work out on a sporadic (forget regular) basis through a sport or other group activity.

But what if you want to start right away?

And this brings me back to the fact that a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step… meaning to say, you've got to start exercising in small ways before you play with the "big boys".

So it is recommended that you at least start by making your daily routine active.

10 Easy Everyday Exercises to Begin With

So here is a list of 10 easy everyday exercises to begin with:

#1: Don't even think of taking the elevator from now on.

#2: Walk for at least 30 minutes in all for a day, after breakfast, lunch and dinner.

#3: Sexercise is one of the best ways to drop that extra weight.

#4: Suck your stomach in for at least five minutes a day.

#5: One of the best way to cope with the inability to find parking space is to park as farther away as possible from your destination, and then walk back and forth. Yes, look at it as exercise…

#6: Letting your dog take you for a walk is an excellent idea as this becomes a habitual way to burn some calories.

#7: Play some of your favorite dance tracks and then shake that a**…

#8: Find some kids to play with, as they are generally far more active than adults, and you can profit from it by getting some exercise as well.

#9: Don't sit down but get up and do some housework if you are at home. Just don't slack off on the couch.

#10: Do some gardening… it gets you back in touch with the earth while also being an excellent form of exercise.

In Closing

Always remember, slow and steady wins the race… and most fitness gods have all started somewhere… even if it was in a small way!
