Charlie Sheen. The man of the hour, it seems. Touted as modern man's true celebrity, his antics in Two and Half Men have come to an end (hello Aston Kutcher), thanks to the sudden moves on the part of several top dogs that play a key role in the programming content on CBS.
For the eight seasons that it ran, it was outrageous enough (which is really how Sheen lives his life anyways) as it depicted the life of Charlie being a drunken womanizer… and no, it wasn't "reel" but his "real life" on screen.
Apart from everything he did, watching him make homemade margaritas suggested that the only kitchen implement that he knew how to use was the blender.
Blenders
Almost everyone of us know what a blender is and can do, so let's move on to other things. Yet its humble beginnings in 1922 was also used to mix drinks (of the non alcoholic variety, of course) until people who enjoyed being creative with liquor and blenders used it for the aforementioned purpose…
Some of the other normal purposes that chefs and housewives/ husbands are accustomed to using this machine for are:
1) Making cocktails, the proverbial frappucchino, smoothies and smooth purees.
2) Powdering small solids such as spices and seeds
3) Dissolving solids into liquids
4) Blending mixtures of solids and liquids
Of course, there are other uses for the blender that border on the bizarre to the grotesque but it's better left to your imagination (and knowledge of history), I guess.
While some of these aspects might be already common knowledge, what might befuddle people is the fact that out of a large number of blenders, it is difficult to find the best ones for your home.
So here is a list of blenders that are considered to be the best by reviewers and users alike. (In some cases, they are one and the same.)
The 3 Best Blenders Today
#1: Blendtec Total Blender
Right off the bat, this blender is an expensive one, and comes with 1500 Watt motor. If that's not enough, all you have to do is turn it on, and it turn itself off once the blending cycle is complete. No surprises it costs so much, huh?
#2: Vitamix
This blender is considered to be the best smoothie making blender available in the market today. Not only does this blender eliminate the need for you to cut frozen or whole uncut fruits but it is also one of the best 'health' blenders in the market today.
#3: Magic Bullet
In comparison to the other two, this blender is relatively new in the market yet that doesn't take away the fact that it performs the same tasks as the other two popular blenders while being much easier to handle (due to being smaller in size) and clean as well.
At another level altogether, the Oster blender is also a popular blender which was considered to be one of the best for non-frozen foods. It was a popular choice amongst users until the Vitamix blender came into the market.
In Closing
And since Charlie is on a drug known as "Charlie Sheen" while sharing a family with two goddesses, you can only imagine what goes through his mind when he turns those "knobs" on a blender these days…

Hmm, I wonder if Charlie Sheen blends his own margaritas, or does he have a goddess handle that bit for him?
My first blender was an Oster. I made baby food for my little ones back in the day. I always see Vitamix commercials and wish I could afford one, but I fear I would not use it enough to justify the cost.
