Weekly Recap (November 9-16, 2008)
In typical paradoxical fashion, I actually felt leaner after this week's 5,000-calorie binge.
I read The Cheat to Lose Diet when it first came out, and much of the science in there may back up the surprising results, or lack thereof, of the carb-fest.
Even though the consequences were negligible, it still isn't anything that I want to do on a regular basis, because everything just feels so much better and smoother on my current low-carb all-natural diet.
Whether it's partly psychological or not, there is definitely a tangible difference in how much better I feel when eating "clean."
Tomorrow begins Week 2 of the final phase of "Maximum Strength," and I can't wait, as always!
