the price of home gym equipment has decreased in my opinion, most users could have a complete home gym for under $5,000. Plus the equipment lasts for years. If you work this out compared to a gym membership over 10 years you will be saving money whilst working out in the comfort of your own home.

A lot of people are coming around to the idea that not only does long-duration cardio training not work, it’s dangerous. But while I give them credit for catching on, they’re not getting it quite right.

In fact, one of the most popular doctors on the Internet is also not recommending long-duration cardio any more like he used to. He’s come up with his own exercise regimen. I admire him for trying, but there are serious problems with his new program, and there are a few things I do differently.- Dr Al Sears MD

I agree, working out at home is alot more cost effective and you can achieve the same results. The price of gym equipment has become really expensive, and lets face it, we all cant afford to have a state of the art treadmill at our house.

My favourite at home cardio workout is dancing. I switch on the stereo, find a nice track and do a solid hours dancing. Now only are you breaking a sweat but also improving your rhythm!

Fitness equipment is overpriced, lose weight and save money at home!
