Weekly Recap (January 4-11, 2009)

Back on track, and things are tightening up after the monumental New Year's Binge-athon!

Of course, much of last week's extra pounds and bloat was just due to the actual food still sitting in my stomach.

Nevertheless, it was still nice to see the numbers come back down to a more reasonable range, dropping about 5 pounds and an inch from my waist.

So, now that I've negated much of the binge, I'm back where I started a few weeks ago, and I'm ready to really start tightening things up again.

I was pleasantly surprised at how well my endurance held up over the holidays, and I felt great yesterday morning at a tough speed camp.

I ramped things up very slowly last week, since I hadn't done any weight-work in a while, and I'm ready to get back to heavier weights starting tomorrow!
