Amen to that! Hard work, sacrifice and consistency with the proper workout regimen and healthy diet. People are always looking for that magic pill, that new breakthrough device that can get us a lean six-pack without working for it. If there was such a thing, plastic surgeons won't be earning ridiculous amounts of money performing liposuction. ;)

And that's all there is to it. Nothing means anything without hard work, sacrifice and CONSITENCY. I'm always saying how most people want to just take a magic pill and wake up the next morning with the body of their dreams and it doesn't work that way.

Thanks Brandon! I think folks should keep in mind though that it's important to eat healthier food such as fruit and nuts instead of chips and dip. That way, it'll be easier to keep the body nourished and maintain metabolism at the same time. Adopting healthy eating habits will make it easy to keep fat off our bodies.

Exactly, Pennie, that's just why the frequent-feeding method is designed that way, and I'm glad it's working for you!

I agree with the 5-6 small meals (or snacks) approach rather than the normal 3 meals per day routine as the latter causes me to get hungry and binge during lunch or dinner. I've tried it myself and it actually resulted in weight-loss! Not a lot mind you, but significant enough that I know if I paired it with the right work-out routine I can get lean and toned in no time.

I believe eating 5-6 small meals throughout the day is best when going for weight loss. It's a great way to speed up your metabolism and will cut out the cravings and binge eating as you'll always feel full. Just as long as you choose the right foods for your meals!

Exactly, Paul, this is to get started on the right foot, then people need to develop a more routine lifestyle change, instead of continuing to embark on fad diets. The best and most manageable eating plan for life that I've come across and use personally is Precision Nutrition by Dr. John Berardi, which I'm sure you've heard of.

A nice plan to start with, but how realistic is it to maintain this plan in the long term?

Is the aim of this plan to give the dieter a quick way to make SOME achievement (i.e. losing 5 pounds) and then get them into some long term healthy eating/exercise programme?

I like the idea, that all people need to do is stick to the programme, the thing for people to remember is. Don't reward yourself with "naughty" food! It will make you feel worse in the long run!
