I don't get into all of the new-age spiritual type stuff but I do enjoy just taking a few moments to unwind.

I've just recently started doing breathing exercises for about 20 minutes per day and I can tell a big difference in my overall body.

Same here, I practice slow breathing for about 10 minutes per day, but nothing special other than that.
