Weekly Recap (June 25 – July 1)
I feel healthier and more energetic with each week. Another great week of all intense workouts.
Highlight of the week was when I refocused on keeping the weight on my heels during squats. I've always known that's one of the main rules when squatting, but I guess I had slowly gotten out of the habit. As I discussed in one of my daily updates over on the forums, my left knee began to tighten up and get a little sore during the first set of squats the other day. This is what reminded me to shift all the weight back onto my heels.
Once I did that, I felt more stable and powerful while squatting than I have in a long time. I will definitely remember that from now on, because they feel like a completely different exercise now.
That about raps it up for this week. See you next Sunday and don't forget you can follow my daily updates over at the forums in this thread: Personal Daily Workout Log.
