Weekly Recap (October 7 - 13)

I increased my calories per day a little last week to try and add a few pounds of muscle. It worked pretty well, as I gained 3 pounds and only increased my body fat percentage by 1%.

I hadn't even realized it until yesterday when I was recording my workout logs that I've been going hard for 12 straight weeks. That's 3 months or a quarter of a year that just flew by!

After that amount of time, I find it's always good to allow my body to recover a little bit, so I'll be doing an "active rest" week this week of all bodyweight work.

That should still allow my body to get a break from daily heavyweight and intense exercise, and re-energize me for setting new highs when I come back to the weights.
