Weekly Recap (October 26 – November 2, 2008)

This was my first full week of my ketogenic diet, and I can't say enough how much I love it so far.

The results in terms of measurements weren't as dramatic as I would have liked, but they were still great.

However, the results in terms of how I've felt have been nothing short of phenomenal.

Since cutting back to less than 100 grams of carbs per day, not only has my energy not decreased, it's increased dramatically, along with my strength and conditioning.

Granted, I can't attribute all of these results to my brand new diet, but it certainly isn't hurting!

Yesterday's speed camp was one of my best yet, as I lead the entire group by several seconds in every drill, and my strength continues to increase with each and every "Maximum Strength" workout.

I'm obviously going to continue with the same overall eating plan, though I'll be adding about 50 calories per day to try and keep adding muscle while cutting fat.

There's always a fine line between the two, and I'm right on it.

I'm really excited about keeping it going, and I don't miss the cut carbs one bit.

That about raps it up for this week. See you next Sunday and don't forget you can follow my daily updates over at Geek2Freak.com.
