Hey Curtis,

You're ahead of your time!

Increasing/decreasing RPM is the more common method, but if you've never tried it that way, you might as well see what you haven't been missing... :D

Hi Brandon,

Little did I know I've been doing HIIT 2.0 all along. My workout usually consists of alternating one-minute intervals at 80-85 rpm's at varying levels of intensity.

What I haven't tried is keeping the resistance the same and increasing the rpm's. I'll have to give it a try.

Hey Zach,

No problem, as you know "old school" is still excellent and beats the TRUE old school form of slow, boring cardio anyday.

You can still try it out at a local gym sometime if you're curious, then when it's time for a bike upgrade just keep an eye out for the resistance feature!

Changing the resistance would be great but when I bought my old airdyne I wasn`t looking for the right stuff and my 700 dollar bike don`t have a way to change the resistance so unless I buy a new bike I`ll just have to do it old school.
