Weekly Recap (December 16-23)
My weight stayed exactly the same this week, and if felt great to get in some pretty good mini-workouts and cardio sessions. I'm really looking forward to getting back into my regular intense routine, so I can start shedding some of this fat I've picked up post-surgery and start building back the muscle I lost.
Unfortunately, as I mentioned in my Daily Updates, I got sidelined AGAIN on Thursday by an ingrown toenail. That's pretty frustrating considering I was just getting back into things, but it's starting to feel a bit better now.
I'm still planning on starting the fuller circuit workouts tomorrow, but I may lay off lower body exercises on Monday and maybe Wednesday depending on how it feels. Like I said before, I definitely understand how even huge guys like Shaq can complain about something as seemingly minor as toe pain.
As for my diet, I'm finally able to chew chicken again so I can resume my full regular diet which is a relief. Though I am glad I was forced to eat salmon while I healed, because now it's one of my favorite foods, and I'll be keeping it as a part of my regular eating at least 2 or 3 times per week.
That about raps it up for this week. See you next Sunday and don't forget you can follow my daily updates over at the forums in this thread: Personal Daily Workout Log.
