Weekly Recap (January 13-20)
This was my best week since surgery in terms of starting to build some of my strength and endurance back. I've still got a long way to go, but I'm glad to finally be back on the right path!
I used to take my measurements at 9AM on Sunday, but I've switched them to 8AM starting today. The one hour difference may not seem like much, but it really does make a difference since it's closer to the time I wake up.
So, it's hard to draw any real comparisons between last week and this week in terms of stats, but I can get a better picture next week.
Speaking of next week, I'll finally be starting barbell work for the first time since surgery. Until now it's been all bodyweight work while I'll slowly readjust and work up to the intense and demanding workouts I was doing before.
This week I'll be using an empty barbell to go through all the motions and make sure I've still got all the proper forms down, etc. Then, each week after, I will begin slowly increasing the weight until I'm back to 110%!
