Weekly Recap (January 27 – February 3)
My momentum is really picking up and I'm really getting back into the swing of things. I had another excellent week, and am still steadily increasing all poundages/reps with relatively little resistance.
I'm still confident I'll be back to pre-surgery strength within only a month or two.
The best news of the week came Friday when I went to the podiatrist again for my toe problem. I went in thinking they were going to have to do the same thing they did about a month ago, which would knock me off my feet for another two weeks.
But, when I got there, he said everything looks completely normal so far and it's healing well, and any slight discomfort I feel every once in a while is just things growing back together.
I was extremely happy to hear that, so my workouts won't be derailed at all! Now it's time to amp it up and start packing on my lost muscle while losing some of this body fat I've picked up!
