Weekly Recap (January 6 - 13)
This was my first full workout week since surgery where it really felt like a full week. It's awesome to feel like I'm finally building momentum to get back into top shape.
The only exercise I had to skip this week was lunges just because it puts a lot of pressure and stretch on my toes, but my toe is at about 98-99% as of today, so hopefully it won't be a problem this week.
My numbers were a little quirky this week, with some going up, while others went down, but I expect things to be a little out of whack while my body readjusts.
This week I'm planning on sticking with the same bodyweight routine, and depending on how everything goes, I should be able to begin working with an empty bar next week.
I'm not very good at taking things slowly, but it's really important that I do this time, so I don't risk injury by trying to rush back to excellent condition too soon.
