Weekly Recap (June 22-29, 2008)

This week's results were definitely confusing.

I didn't do any HIIT during the week, only doing one session on Saturday (yesterday).

I wanted to test if this would allow for more recovery from strength training and make sure I wasn't doing so much HIIT that it was hindering my muscle gains.

It turns out I actually LOST over 4 pounds, and I'm not sure why.

My diet has been impeccable with 0 cheat meals, and it wouldn't have been so disappointing if my waist and body fat measurements also went down, but they barely budged.

I'm going to march on and increase my calories a bit on off days. In fact, I'm going to go back to 3 HIIT sessions, because as crazy as it sounds, I did actually miss them.

Of course, given the fact that I lost 4 pounds with only 1 HIIT session, I'll be sure to eat just as many calories on off days as I do on lifting days, and we'll see if I can work my way back up toward the 190's again!
