Pole Dancing Exercise – For the "Prima Donna" in you…

Wrestling has always been a favorite pastime of mine. Right from the days when Bret Hart was considered to be the best there is, the best there was and the best there ever will be.

And the rivalry between Bret and Shawn Michaels has been beaten to death over the years, and one which both Vince McMahon and WWF (called so during the Monday Night Wars) profited greatly from.

In treating Bret the way he did in the Montreal Screwjob, he effectively donned this image of a "nasty boss" which made for some interesting moments between him and Stone Cold Steve Austin.

And with Shawn Michaels (with that "prima donna" image of his), Triple H and company being at their "degenerative" best, it wasn't surprising that WCW lost its foothold as the premier wrestling company in the business.

In being classified as sports entertainment, wrestling has moved into the mainstream instead of being stereotyped as people pounding the crap out of each other for fun.

Yet there's another profession that can also be added to the same category: Yes, we're talking about pole dancing which is similar to the wrestling of today where you really have to know how to showboat, have a great body and wear little or nothing much to the delight of the audience.

But there's another side to all of this…

Pole Dancing Exercise

Does the sentence "We got a grease man." ring any bells?

Yes, the Amazing Yen in Ocean's Eleven who is really unique in the sense that he works magic with a pole. While it's unthinkable that a man would do such a thing rather than sit and watch, the man, is for all practical purposes, a Chinese pole artists. And that's very different from the real thing…

What you will also notice about this little man is the level of fitness that he exhibits rather easily throughout the movie, and is the reason why some experts believe that pole dancing exercise is one of the best ways to tone your body.

So let's take a look as to why this is so…

Benefits of Pole Dancing Exercise

If there's anything that is true of the pole dancing exercise, it is fast becoming one of those ways in which can women can express themselves (in their own company) while also getting as fit as possible at great speed. And for those of you who haven't tried it, pole dancing gives you a chance to be a child all over again and is really fun to try.

So here are a few benefits of pole dancing exercise that people are appreciative of these days:

#1: In being aerobic in nature, this form of exercise (yeah, in a manner of speaking, 'sexercise') tones your body from top to bottom since it combines movements from gymnastics, dancing and ballet. (And if 'plies' are a part of your exercise routine, you'll have a renewed appreciation for ballet dancers. Trust me, it's anything but a chick thing to try moves like that.)

#2: Your arms, buttocks and thighs are parts of your body that benefit a lot from these exercises.

#3: A single workout burns 400 calories, thanks to moves such as climbs, spins, static poses, body inverts and static poses and so on and so forth.

#4: Not only will you get fit much faster in using your body weight against gravity but if you get good at it, you can also think of pursuing a career in "sports entertainment" as well.

In Closing

The best part about this exercise is that one can start it at any age or fitness level that they are at, and if you are one of those women who wants to get that bod to die for, and isn't ashamed of jumping through some hoops to do it, then pole dancing exercise can be one of the best options that are around today. And what's more: you can be the next best prima donna, if you like!
