Very interesting topic, the role of science is changing the world of sport. Looking forward to see the shape of things in the next few years.

We use both oscillating (VibraFlex and Hypervibe) and lineal (WAVE) vibration machines at our studio. Both types are useful depending on the user and application. Generally speaking we've found the oscillating machines to be great for the lower body, and some of the ladies prefer the lineal for upper body work (push ups, tricep dips, etc.). Personally I find it great for recovery after a run, and have observed that I am noticeably less stiff the following day if I incorporate it into my post-run regime. I also use it to get a fast, effective upper body workout (push-ups, chest press, etc.)

Unfortunately, we have encountered many people who have had negative experiences with cheap, under powered vibration machines. Promoting education and awareness of vibration training, how it works, and what to look for in a good machine, is one of our aims.

Very interesting study. I’m really interested to see where this goes the next few years. As a former, athlete, I am really interested to see where science will take the next generation of athletes. Vibration technique, just might be that tool that can carry them to the next level

Sounds VERY interesting. I'm always looking at ways to increase my results, especially since I have the tendency to plateau very fast.
