Eric Cressey's Maximum Strength: Get Your Strongest Body in 16 Weeks with the Ultimate Weight-Training Program
Weekly Recap (November 16-23, 2008)
I continue to feel fantastic throughout every workout, and I'm loving being able to feel a tangible improvement in both strength and conditioning.
The only slight problem was the giant FOUR pounds I lost this week!
My friend came into town for the week, so naturally, I was burning more calories through everyday activities like bowling, basketball, etc., but I didn't account for those and increase my daily calories accordingly.
For anyone trying to lose weight, it's amazing how small extracurricular activities like that can add up so fast.
Of course, I'm sure my freakish "I want to weight 100 pounds" metabolism had a little something to do with it too.
This week should be back to normal, so I'll keep calories about the same and see if I can gain a pound or two back.
This is also week 3 of the final Phase of "Maximum Strength," the last "Very High Load" week.
It's going to be a challenging, but fun week, because then it's smooth sailing in Week 16 with a "Very Very Light Load" week, in preparation for the final test on December 6th to see how much my power and strength has increased.
I can't wait, and that will help fuel the grueling workouts this week, even with the potential holiday distractions.
That about raps it up for this week. See you next Sunday and don't forget you can follow my daily updates over at Geek2Freak.com.
